      Treat yourself to a premiere golf experience.

      Introduced in 1972 by renowned designer George Cobb, Edgewood has hosted two West Virginia State Opens, six U.S. Open local qualifiers and numerous WV Amateur and WV Mid Amateur qualifiers. The course covers 7,006 yards of luscious terrain and is the only course in the Kanawha Valley that features bent grass tees, fairways, and slick, undulating greens.
       
      Players at all levels of ability find that the course, driving range, putting greens and short game practice area offer excellent opportunities for practice, social and competitive golf. Edgewood has always been the choice of various companies and organizations to host premiere golf outings.
       
      Our staff, led by PGA professional Craig Berner, is dedicated to upholding the longtime traditions of Edgewood Country Club and welcoming golf enthusiasts that have a passion for the game.

      When frost is present:

      • Split tees will be used on the weekend

      • No one will be permitted on the golf course

        
       

      Directions to Golf Course

      From Charleston, WV

      Take I-77 north to exit 114 (Sissonville, Pocatalico).  Go to the bottom of the exit ramp and make a right turn onto Route 21.  Stay on Rte. 21 for about 2/3 mile and take the 2nd right turn, Derrick's Creek Road.  Follow Derrick's Creek Road about 2 miles.  The golf course will be on your left.  
       

      From Parkersburg, WV

      Take I-77 South to exit 114 (Pocatalico).  Go to the bottom of the exit ramp and make a left turn onto Rte. 21.  Go about 200 yards and take another left onto Rte. 21.  Once onto Rte 21, take the first right you come to, Derrick's Creek Road.  Stay on Derrick's Creek Road for about 2 miles and the golf course will be on your immediate left.

      A year round racquets program for the whole family!

      Edgewood Country Club's tennis facility features Har-Tru clay tennis courts, tennis practice area, and a pro-shop. The courts are open daily, May through October.

      The Club also features one regulation squash doubles court and two regulation squash singles courts. There is a viewing gallery for spectators above and to the rear of all three courts. The squash courts are available for play anytime the Club is open for Member use.

      With a location that is close to downtown, members of Edgewood Country Club enjoy the convenience of working out on their own schedules. The Club's fitness facility includes top-of-the-line LifeFitness equipment and a complete set of free weights. Michael Lipscomb, the Club's Fitness Professional, is available for
      private or semi-private workouts and consultations. 

         
      Members can also relax while enjoying the steam rooms & saunas as well as the welcoming Men's Lounge. Whether you are starting your day with a great workout or simply wanting to relax in the sauna, Edgewood Country Club
      offers a wide array of options to help you meet your health and fitness goals.

      Edgewood Country Club's spa provides members a place to relax, refresh and revive themselves. The experienced  clinician offers a full array of massage treatments. We welcome you to pamper and indulge yourself from head to toe.
       
      Michael Martin has been a practicing certified therapist for many years. He offers relaxation & deep tissue massage, in varioous time slots..

      A sparkling oasis of swimming pools.

      Edgewood Country Club provides an excellent location for sunbathers, lap swimmers and everyone in between! The Club offers swimming enjoyment for the whole family around the beautiful heated racing pool & diving well. A separate baby pool provides a safe and relaxing area for babies and small children. Steps away is a full service snack shop offers everything from sandwiches and salads to ice cold sodas and snacks.
      The pool season runs from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend.
       

      ECC Swim Team

      The ECC Gators compete during the summer across the region. Swimmers are guided and trained by the most
      dedicated coaches in the area who work to make a positive impact both in and out of the water.
