Chartered in 1898, Edgewood Country Club is rich in heritage and tradition.
Since its inception, Edgewood has been distinguished as Charleston’s premier country club. Edgewood offers a clubhouse with casual and formal dining, a full service golf course facility, year round racquets program, large family swimming pool and fitness facility. A full calendar of social and recreational events is offered throughout the year. The main clubhouse is situated in the historic Edgewood neighborhood, allowing convenient access for the business and community leaders who are among the membership of ECC.
The dining rooms are complimented by seasonal outdoor dining, a Member’s Lounge and a full-service banquet department. The clubhouse also features a fully outfitted fitness facility with Life-Fitness equipment and a Fitness Professional who is available to help you along your path to greater wellbeing. Enhance your fitness program with treatments from The Spa at Edgewood, which features a menu of clinical massage and aesthetic services.
The ECC Golf Course at Derricks Creek is located less than 15 minutes from the Charleston’s business district. Designed by renowned golf course architect, George Cobb, the course provides a rejuvenating retreat and a challenging, yet enjoyable, experience for golfers of all ability. The golf program features Men’s and Women’s Invitational, a ladies golf league, children’s camps and co-ed events throughout the season. Visit the 19th Hole, where the ECC Chef has created a menu to complete your round. Enjoy a great view of the Course and two large, flat screen televisions to catch the latest in golf and sports events.

Edgewood Country Club is a private, member-owned entity. All members must be nominated by a current member of the Club and approved by the Board of Governors.
